Good place to stay. Stayed in the aft quarters. No hot tub or ocean view deck, but still a nice place. Parking is very limited.
This is our second year coming to Channel House, and we have already booked our next visit! Our room was lovely and cozy. The views of Depoe Bay and the ocean are beyond compare. We sat on our balcony in the hot tub and watched whales, sea lions, sea birds, and seals frolic in the water. The staff is soooo kind and really makes you feel like they appreciate you coming. We can’t wait to go back!
Fantastic unique hotel. The location is great, literally looking out onto the ocean. Right at the channel to the harbor, so fun watching the boats come in because the channel is quite narrow. …
Fantastic location!! Fantastic unique hotel. The location is great, literally looking out onto the ocean. Right at the channel to the harbor, so fun watching the boats come in because the channel is quite narrow. Seals were sitting on the rocks in the channel the whole weekend. When we arrived, we went to dinner at the brewery across the bridge. The next table pointed out to us some orcas, they were right in front of our hotel. Even from across the bridge we could see them clearly. Unfortunately we never saw any other orcas or whales the whole weekend.
We stayed in the Bridge room. I think this room probably has the most private jacuzzi tub area. There rest of the balcony is small but that was ok. There room has a separate living room area from the bedroom.
The location is great, could walk to everything in Depoe Bay from here. What we liked best is how it was a unique hotel, not just a big box with all identical rooms. Of course it’s not super fancy, but it was clean and we were there for the views.
My husband and I stayed at The Channel House for 2 nights to celebrate our 22nd Anniversary. The innkeeper, Kathy was friendly and escorted us to our Suite.#2 Captains Quarters. She let us in and showed us the amenities. We found ourselves in Oceanview heaven. The tub in the very private balcony was perfect. The room was cozy especially when you turn on the gas fireplace. This stay us exactly what we needed. I can't wait to come back!
Booked on AirBnB, the Salt Air Suite, bottom level.
Jetted hot tub on the back porch, fill it yourself. The water gets very hot.
King sized bed was great, firm. Wouldn't recommend for back issues.
Wine and champagne at $30 a bottle.
Loved the robes.

Like I died and went to oceanic view heaven. This place was so perfectly perfect. Warm, quiet, tucked away, facing the entrance to the depoe so that I could sit on the couch or bed or IN THE HOT TUB and watch the ocean literally yards away. I am so grateful I found this discreet jewel. And I'm so grateful it was an adults only hotel. Yes, I adore my children, but when it's the few times I choose to get away from my kiddos I also enjoy not hearing other kiddos running above me or giggling in the next room. My new save haven 💙
My wife and I spent a couple nights in the Bridge Suite #4 and absolutely loved it. The deck was private and had beautiful views of the ocean and bridge. Can't wait to stay again in the future!
