GUEST JOURNAL FROM THE CUCKOO'S NEST:

What a delightful way to begin our marriage. When we arrived it was a moonlit night. We enjoyed a storm together. We left with a delightful breakfast and sunshine in the sky and warmth in our hearts. - Kathy & Michael

Future guests be forewarned: you'll leave a part of your heart in this magic place! You can reclaim it by shutting your eyes and recalling your memories here. - Ed & Jan

Once again we've come to the Channel House to see in the New Year - a more relaxing, yet exhilarating and magical time, cannot be imagined. Perfect ending to the old year and perfect beginning to the New Year. - Tom & Char

This was my first time at the Channel House and I loved it. The food was fantastic. The room was great but I think my favorite thing was the two-headed shower. Enjoy! - Tony & Cheryl

The most inspirational, powerful and peaceful two days at the coast in my first fifty-one years! Thanks sincerely for the environment you have created. - Dave

Our first visit to the Channel House, my first time in love. Struggling of late to know, to decide if our love and trust in one another can survive the difficulties brought about by our sense of responsibility and obligation to others, I brought him here, hoping as I did to find the answer for which I was searching. I have to believe that the tranquility of the ocean helped me to discover once and for all that I have in fact found it in him. I will love you always.  - Rachel

This day began with the marriage of two of my very best friends in the world; my husband and I were their witnesses. A wonderful small ceremony, which brought tears to all of our eyes. I'm grateful to have been a part of their moment then and now here in this amazing suite. - Tracy

This place is so wonderful. We were a little anxious as we had not previously been here - it certainly has not let us down. There is no better place in my imagination to spend my Honeymoon with the man I love and the two of our best friends.  - Kathy

The Channel House staff never fails to welcome us with open arms. They are very kind and generous to a fault. The serenity of our own Cuckoo's Nest … the mesmerizing effect of the majestic Pacific - yes, we have seen her in all of her fickle moods, from extremely dramatic to more calming - but each one inspirational. The magnificent breakfasts each morning are worth the price of admission. Each time we take away memories that will not be surpassed - or ever fade with time. Once again our already idyllic lives are enhanced by a stay at the Channel House. If ever we reach the Pearly Gates, or stroll through the Garden of Eden will it be ever thus - as it is at the Channel House? - Jo & Bud

After twelve years of friendship, our first excursion together as a couple. Falling asleep in your arms, hearing the waves outside crash against the shore all night long, I am reminded that dreams do come true. - Jennifer and Carrie

Living Room

Writing here, I almost feel compelled to reveal my darkest secrets. I am overwhelmed by a feeling unexplainable to even lovers - whereas I know even to utter the words lonely or beautiful is to denigrate the truth and the essence of this land. So I will forever still my tongue and let the glitter of my eye speak all that needs to be said. Thanks to the Channel House crew for its continuing love and hospitality. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay - short as it may have been - and especially our dinner at the Bay House. - Becky

One night is not enough. - Marilyn

We spent two weeks last month on Maui, Hawaii. We have now found our Hawaii near home. - Trish & Bruce
