FAVORITE RESTAURANTS
Depoe Bay and the surrounding area affords our customers wonderful dining opportunities with a variety of cuisines.
For a village of just 1,000 people, we are particularly fortunate to have some terrific restaurants in close proximity.
Here is a sampling of some of the restaurants that we recommend:

Restaurant Beck
2345 S Highway 101, Depoe Bay
541-765-3220
Located within Whale Cove Inn, just 1.5 miles south of Channel House, this new
fine dining house offers New American cuisine with emphasis on local northwest
products. Chef owned, the restaurant offers a menu which focuses on
seasonal ingredients and changes frequently. Also featured are creative
wine and craft brew lists. Join us for dinner Wednesday-Monday, 4:30 to 9
PM. Reservations are recommended. See more at
www.restaurantbeck.com.
April's at Nye Beach
749 NW 3rd St, Newport
541-265-6855
Across from the Sylvia Beach Hotel, April's is among the very best that the Coast has to offer.
Look forward to a Mediterranean influenced menu and freshly baked bread that is to die for.
Reservations are necessary.
Side Door Café
6675 Gleneden Beach Loop Road, Gleneden Beach
541-764-3825
Looking for a off-beat dining experience, off-the-beaten-path? The Side Door Café is the place to visit.
A favorite hideaway for all of us at the Channel House, the restaurant serves lunch and dinner,
and offers a very nice menu that varies from week to week. An intimate setting combined with a
wonderful variety of dining experiences makes this restaurant a secret worth revealing to our friends.
Also, if you enjoy entertainment, Eden Hall offers one of the finest venues on the Oregon Coast for musical
entertainment. Dinner reservations are recommended.
Side Door Café
Tidal Raves
279 NW Highway 101, Depoe Bay
541-765-2995
On the ocean here in Depoe Bay, the Raves boasts an outstanding seafood menu along with offerings of a more bovine nature.
All of this is accompanied by an excellent wine list and a superb dessert menu, to be enjoyed while viewing surf and sunset.
The appetizers are worth the visit also (try the seahawk bread!). Lunch and dinner are served daily in the summer.
Check with us for hours in the winter. Reservations are required almost anytime after 5:30 PM.
Sea Hag
58 E. Highway 10, Depoe Bay
541-765-2760
No visit to Depoe Bay or the Channel House is complete without a visit to the Sea Hag. Owned and operated by
Gracie Strom, Gracie is a legend here in town and with our guests. While her restaurant affords a good family
style atmosphere, her seafood is some of the freshest on the Oregon Coast. Featuring an all you can eat Seafood
Buffet on Friday evening, and Prime Rib and Yorkshire pudding with all of the trimmings on Saturday, the Sea Hag is
renowned for its chowder, some of the best you will find along the Oregon Coast. But no visit to the Sea Hag is
complete without hearing Gracie play her bottles. No reservations required.
Saffron Salmon
859 SW Bay Blvd., Newport
541-265-8921
On the Bayfront in Newport, Saffron Salmon is a gem of a chef-owned restaurant that offers lunch and dinner
experiences of exceptionally prepared fresh, local fare. Chef Michael and wife Stacy will take very good care of you.
