Depoe Bay Dining

Restaurants in Depoe Bay, Oregon

Beautiful scenery and a good meal have a way of enhancing each other. Savor the Oregon Coast for yourself at one of the restaurants in Depoe Bay, Newport and other places nearby: steady supplies of fresh caught seafood and more than a dash of culinary talent have made Depoe Bay dining an essential part of vacationing at Channel House.

At less than 2 miles from Channel House, Restaurant Beck is a fine example of acclaimed Depoe Bay dining that many of our guests have enjoyed. The menu includes gourmet takes on meat and fish dishes such as rockfish, king salmon and pork shoulder, plus options for five or seven-course meals with select wine pairings. Of course, their perch on the rim of Whale Cove does add to the experience!

Head a little further down the coast to find the town of Newport and other suitable options for lunch (Restaurant Beck opens at 5 p.m.) Chief among these is Clearwater Restaurant on the Historic Bayfront, specializing in a range of local cuisine, seafood, and vegetarian friendly options from 11:00 a.m. onwards. Nana’s Irish Pub, also in Newport, opens at a similar time with an even more laid-back, kid-friendly atmosphere you’re sure to love.

Should you find yourself in the mood for breakfast a bit closer to Channel House, there are a few satisfying options to choose from right here in Depoe Bay. The Pirate Coffee Co. on Vista Street is less than a mile from us, and a simple drive up U.S. 101 will bring you past other favorites like Arch Rock Coffee and Gracie’s Sea Hag. Finally, the selection of caramels, truffles, nut clusters and many other treats at Fuddy Duddy Fudge, a Depoe Bay staple for over 30 years, makes the candy store well worth a visit.
